Giving Day Impact

Money raised on the Sixth Annual St. Norbert College Giving Day will support the St. Norbert Fund – the primary source of scholarships for our students. Since 97 percent of all SNC students rely on financial aid in some form, giving to the St. Norbert Fund couldn’t be more important. Here, a few of our students talk about what their scholarship has meant to them and how it’s helping them achieve their dreams:

“My scholarship is very important to me because I would not have been able to afford to attend St. Norbert College without it. I have been lucky to have received numerous scholarships throughout my time at St. Norbert, which have allowed me to continue my study. I am very thankful that I have been able to attend St. Norbert because I have been able to acquire an intensive education, make lifelong friendships, and lasting memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life”

“I came to St. Norbert College not knowing many people and little did I know that I would meet so many that would radically change my life. I have met people on this campus that have challenged me, made me ask hard questions, pushed me more than I have ever been in my life, and this has all helped me grow into a better version of myself. I have met people who have shown me what it means to truly be a friend, people who never fail to support me, love me, and walk the hard days with me. People who will always say hello, people who are willing to stay up until 3 a.m. working on projects with me, people who care about my wellbeing and genuine happiness, people who show me the diversity of beauty and kindness, and people who make the word friendship synonymous with family. If there is anything I will always remember about SNC it is the family that I have been blessed with during my time here.”

“I credit St. Norbert with making me who I am today. This institution has not only fostered my personal growth, but has completely changed me. St. Norbert introduced me to a community where I feel at home. It allows me to be my authentic self with all my peers around me. I truly feel a part of something of which I can always call home, no matter what. St. Norbert has stretched my limits academically and morally, teaching me to always think critically and challenge the environment around me. In addition, my college has also taught me the importance of self-reflection and to always seek room for improvement, and to think not only about myself, but everyone around me.”
